Logan wont stop barking and now neighbors are complaining

Logan is just over one years old and for some reason barks at everything and now my neighbors are complaining about it. i don't know why he does it ill be sitting down with him next to me and he will just start, he stands there barking at an empty packet of crisps lol. i have tried a few things but he doesn't want to know he just ignores me and just wants to bark bark bark !!!!!! its driving me insane and my neighbors

please i need help with a dog that just wont listen or let up

he is doing great with all his other training like not jumping, and the mouthing is getting a bit better and he is getting great with kids as-well so he knows how to listen and learn but for some reason he wont listen with the not barking training.

any advice would be greatly appropriated

He knows your getting stressed. This is a game to him.

I can offer no solution really, you just need to find that key word with the high value treat again. You will get there.

we are having a similar problem with George - he didn't bark at all when we first had him but is making up for it now
what George does is bark and bark at my son when he sits in my chair then doesn't know when to stop ...sometimes he starts as soon as Craig comes into the room - i think he sees him as a playmate and wants to play ...he becomes suddenly deaf to the words "no" and "leave"
(btw Craig is 30 and 6ft 5)
we are winning though , by distracting him or telling him "out " and pointing to the door

might have to try that kath sounds like your winning the battle of the bark, its just finding that one word that will work for him and i will find it no matter what lol

How much stimulation is he getting in other areas? Walks/fun obedience training/meeting new dogs and people?

Take him for 2 long walks a day and then playing off the lead in the garden for around an hour with a tenis ball ( cant let him off the lead when were out becuase of stupid dog owners with agresive dogs letting them off the lead ) training 3 times a day and has got plenty of chew toys aswell ,

When mine wouldn't stop barking i taught him to speak so barking was a trick he was treated for and only done it when i asked him too.
