Jabs?
Hi all,
Summer had her 1st jab yesterday, 8 weeks old, didn't really pay much attention to when the next lot need doing, had a look at her jabs record today and the date is set for the week 12/9-19/9, has the vet written this down wrong or is this correct, this will make her 11 weeks on 12/9 and 12 weeks on 19/9, I thought her 1st were done at 8 weeks, 2nd at 10 weeks and 3rd at 14 weeks or have I got it totally wrong?!
Thanks all

Re: Jabs?
I thought, and I could be wrong, its been a while, that its 2 weeks after there first set of jabs and then another week/2 weeks (vets differ) until they are allowed out. She only had 2 jabs, not three. Xx

yeahh, in some countries (like Australia as vanessa said) pups have 3 vaccinations .. but in the UK pups only have the 2, usually given at 8 and 10 weeks old.
Vinnie had his at 8 and 11wks .. Skye had hers at 9 and 12 wks.

Does that mean you have to pay for each puppy injection separatly over there?
Here (iv never found one that dosnt) puppy vaccinations although are over two appointments are paid for as one on the first visit.

Re: Jabs?
no we are ripped off big time!!
each needle costs about $80 = $240 to get your puppy vaccinated..but having said that... most puppies have their first needle done before they go to their new homes....I wouldn't buy a puppy that didn't have it's first needle.
funny we are talking about needles..just got the card from the vets that Jethro is now due for his annual needle now..more money!!!!
