ear infection i think
my staffy taz has black tar like gunk in one of his ears it doesnt seem to hurt but it smells bad. i thought it was just him at first so i gave him a bath it didnt do anything oviously i wanted to see what other staffy owners thought and see if anyone else has come across this problem should i take him to the vets and find out its something simple and i can buy an ointment at a local pet store you know ear drops or do you think i should try the ear drops first.
please help im kind of worryed i see him as my baby and i havent slept for two nights worrying.

WE haven't had any ear issues with Suki yet. I do think that if you are losing sleep over it you shuld see a vet. It never hurts to be cautious with a potential health issue. Hope it works out for you.

Moo has had 2 ear infections and with a trip to the vets £60 later and week of anti biotics it clears up Sounds to me like a trip to the vets is in order I'm affraid. Xx
