Do you think Max is a full staffy?

Hi

We got Max about a month ago, he is 1. The previous owner had his mum still, who looked like a full staff, but didn't say what breed his dad was. Do you think he's a cross?



He is quite tall and even though he's lean he weighs 20kg.

How tall is he? It's always hard to tell in photos. Do you have any bigger pictures of his face? He looks like a Staff to me! Full Staff or not, he's gorgeous!!

I think he is about 18 inches, he wouldn't stay still long enough for me to measure him properly!



This is my first staff, is it normal for them to sleep the majority of the day?

that's EXACTLY like Mambo, they look like brothers!

Mambo is also tall and rather thin, he's 19,8 kg, 19 inches tall.



and he's also a rescue dog. people tell us he may be boxer cross and he's got a big head but others tell us he's just a tall staffy....

seems like Max may be the same meaning... no one knows

I also wondered if Max had boxer genes. He has a long snout just like Mambo too! Can't get over the likeness!

He could be a mix perhaps with EBT (IDK, something in his face) or something like that, but he could also just be a tall staff. He is so handsome!! Look at that face!

I think that if you could get two staffs so similarly looking it proves that they're probably not crosses but some other 'tall staffy type'.

If he is only 1 he may fill out more and then there would be no doubt. That said, some breeders I have seen breed the longer leg, leaner body to be a more athletic staffy. Either way, great dog!

Hes full staff hes just been bred to look a bit typey. Nothing wrong with it, gorgeous boy.
