Mambo acts like a hoover!
Mambo is just a one little hover. He eats everything off the pavement that he finds attractive - all sort of things really: sweets (jellies, ice cream), chips and other chip-shop stuff, fruit (anything!) bits of sandwiches but someties also a poo (horse, cow or even dog if it 'smells nice' to him ) we live near a lot of schools so every time we go for a walk Mambo is treating himself to whatever the kids didn't like for their lunch and decided to drop it on the pavement...
of course when we see something near we just try to be careful, but many times we don't notice and then I just have to put my hand into his mouth and find whatever he's trying to eat (not a poo tho... ). luckily he's ok with me doing that but of course I'm usually not successful and whatever he had is already swallowed
it hasn't caused anything bad yet but sometimes i'm afraid that he will eat something poisonous or something that will just make him feel sick...
Mambo is crazy about all sorts of food in general and he can eat anything really...
any advice how we can teach him to stop doing this?

Mambo looks like it's his aim to find anything and eat it whenever we go out!
I guess it's his terrier-blood but there must be a way to stop him eating everything because it may be dangerous

We have been carrying a squirt bottle filled with water. Whenever Suki goes to eat something she isn't supposed to she gets wet. It seems to work for the most part but we still have to watch her very cloesly and she still manages to get a few snacks.

yea, poo's definitely the worst thing... especially that on the paths we usually walk there's a lot of horse-riders...
