“Exotic” staffies ?
French bulldogs are in fashion at the moment, but the ones selling for up to 9k are the “exotic” non-KC colours (blue, merle, dilute)
Given the number of blue staffies, I’ve seen a blue and fawn (dilute black & tan) sell for 2.5k
2 litters at this stud are full dilute (blue, fawn)
I know that dilutes are accepted in the KC, merles no longer are, but where are we going ?!

I believe merle staffords are still being registered....as 'blue' or 'fawn'.
They sell for ludicrous amounts!

Some people are just out to get money & couldn't give a t*#s about the health of the breed!
And Gilly's right - merles are still being bred & registered under their base colour of either blue or fawn.

Blimey !
At least with the confirmation to breed standards system here before being allowed to breed KC registered pup, judge will see real colour of dog and refuse.

Yes, I think that's a really good system!
