Hi all,
Ive already posted in the puppy forum but wanted to offically say g'day.

Im originally from Northern Ireland but have been living out in Oz the last 6 years and finally got pup as it looks like Im staying for a bit longer. Ive heard from family back home this site is the best for everything staffy.
We got ourselves an amazing blue about 2 months ago (DOB: 05/05/17) from a breeder over here, so we have the papers if we ever go back to the UK or Ireland.

He's amazing, my first staffy but have heard so many good reports on them, I had to get one. The best thing is I work as a app developer in a dog friendly office so he comes to work every day getting so many pets & rubs!

He's got a bit of coarse hair on his back which I have been watching for the last 2 weeks, it started as a small patch but is getting bigger so going to go to the vet tomorrow just incase its an early skin condition.

But all in all hes the best, feel free to check him out below.

The first is him just chilling in the office. We build apps for a juice company so obligatory watermelon beanbag! Big Grin

Second is well the reason why anyone would move to Australia ... the beach about 15 mins from the office. ... Not that he properly uses it, hes too frightened to go in the water, he even hates standing in puddles.

He is a stunner!

It's funny how they seem to avoid water then all of a sudden they discover how much fun they can have in it Big Grin

Isn't he stunning !
He's lucky to have you around so much, I'd live a dog-friendly workplace but it's not very compatible with activity.

Hi and welcome from me and mine!

I love that beach running photo! He's clearly a right character (well, he is a staffie!).

Good luck at the vets, let us know how you get on.

Hey guys took him to the vet today and he's all good!!
I was just worried as I know they have so many skin conditions the coarse hair felt rough and almost matted, where my 3 friends adult staffies are super soft I was worried it could be the start of a skin condition?

Apparently some are just coarse haired (even from breeders) and thats that? i dont know
I love him regardless, just wanted to make sure it wasnt something that was the start of something that could cause him pain!

So now hes even more like me ... a little rough around the edges!
So now its just on to the fear of water!! Laughing
