Need an escape proof harness! Empty Need an escape proof harness!

I've happily used the Julius K9 with Dodge for years, but the other day he managed to pull back out of it. We were walking along a road at the time and luckily he stayed on the pavement. It gave me a fright, but he thought he was clever.
Could anyone please share their experiences with me about a really escape proof harness for my very strong boy?

I don't think any harness is totally escape proof, but the ruffwear ones are supposed to be good. It's the one thing that bothers me with the Julius - they can pull back out of them.

I did use a ruffwear when he was a youngster, but it frayed after awhile and ruff wear weren't very helpful when I complained. I might try to find a different make in a similar style.
I was surprised Dodge escaped, as I even had the Y shaped strap attached! Goes to prove always expected the unexpected with a staffy!

I am a fan of the ruffwear front range, Nifty’s oldest is 3 years old and still going strong.
Amazon has cheaper equivalents that you can have a look at, I think the Y type of the harness is what I’d look for.

I might give the roughwear another go, perhaps I was just unlucky with the last one. I seem to remember the sizing is a bit small, what do you think? Dodger's grown into a big boy now, no fat but just under 25kg.

My girls wear S so I think you should go for M.

Nifty wears S almost let out on maximum and she’s under 20kgs so M should be ideal for you.
My harnesses do regularly go in the washing machine too so very happy that they are still looking as good.

What colour will you go for ?
