Terrier deafness
So Nifty had a big bout of terrier deafness this morning as she ran off into the distance after the two joggers
Whilst desperately calling her back, definitely this :
The joggers were lovely and I was so apologetic. Nifty just wants to say hello with a very waggy tail.
Will take her back on a long line next time. I think I was getting too confident off lead with her.
Opium, however, still has good recall luckily !

Not sexier than much at the moment
Am currently watching the lessons, will probably apply to Nifty first, at least to get her moving.
Just moments before the joggers, she was trailing behind and stopping every few meters pretending to be tired

Re: Terrier deafness
Katy's walks are like taking her for a drag atm Mind you, she did hurt her ankle last week whilst playing so on metacam for a while! It does depend on which way we are going tbh, down the road I drag her, up the road she drags me

Re: Terrier deafness
Nifty’s motivation depends on if there are people in the distance to see or not
Took her for a walk to the same place with OH today. Decided to keep her on a (long) lead at all times, just in case. She was good.
