Moving house
Has anybody experienced a dogs angst when moving house? I am due to move soon after waiting nearly 5 months of it all being sorted and have obviously started packing. Vinnie is unsettled as knows there is something afoot so to speak. Now my worry is he has been here in same house since a puppy and is very susceptible to any change or routine so any advice would be appreciated, as its stressing me a lot I have already arranged a routine morning walk with his beagle female cousins every morning in the hope that in his head he will come to realise that this is great ,,,,, as said any experiences or advice would be appreciated

Re: Moving house
Oh bless my Vinnie Is there any way you could arrange with the people you're buying from to be able to take Vinnie there so he can have a look around? It might help him as it won't be so strange then.

Oh they are so sensitive aren't they. Agree with Jenc, that sounds like a great idea or at least walk him in the new area so he gets used to the sights and smells x

Re: Moving house
Oh yes, he’ll enjoy exploring his new neighbourhood and in the house, his bed with his scent will reassure him.
Shame he can’t give you a hand with the boxes
