HELP! Tucker ate my wall
Hello all!
Meet Tucker. He is a staffy mix and I rescued him!
For the most part he is a great little guy. (He is having a tough time potty training for one) my biggest issue is that he ATE MY WALL!!!! I currently live in a trailer with him and my husky. He does it at night when I am asleep. We have tried crating him at night but he SCREAMS all night. Any ideas on how to keeo him from being so distructive?
He has MANY toys. He gets lots and lots of love. He has a playmate. He gets regular exercise (especially because I have a 1.5 years okd husky who never sleeps)

Re: HELP! Tucker ate my wall
Hello and welcome.
I can’t see your photos as your account is new, looking forwards to seeing your furry friends.
I don’t know what arrangements you have in your home in terms of who sleeps where. Be careful that the crate is a positive place and not a punishment.
My girls are both in their play pens when I’m out of house or sleeping at night. Play pen is made up of puppy wire panels. Inside is a crate without the door but with cushions/blankets. It’s a “safe place” or den and replaces basket, I suppose. (I also use crates for car travel so my girls associate being “in a box” as positive.)
The girls also have toys, water and they eat in their play pen which I open up when back home. It keeps my girls safe from harm and they have their personal space.
Maybe Tucker is destructive because he’s tired as husky is preventing him from resting as he needs ?
