Re: Quick colour question
Hello & welcome.
Yes, it's certainly possible,although uncommon.
Is there any other reason you may be suspicious? Are the parents (and your girl) registered with the Kennel Club?

Re: Quick colour question
Getting excited to have a puppy in the house again our old dog is 9 he is staffie x frenchy.
Im just asking because the colour difference makes me wonder not because i dont want to trust the breeders but its just a bit odd...she should be genuine because the breeders own both parents so it would be the easiest to breed their own dogs she isnt registered but we dont buy her for breeding or showing just as a family pet...

Re: Quick colour question
I’m not the specialist in genetics that gilly is, but the thing they do over here is test white puppies for deafness.

That's why it's better to buy a pup from registered parents - you don't need to want to show or breed her, but you do need to have certain facts. For example, were her parents tested for the hereditary problems in the breed at the moment? L2HGA, PHPV/PPSC & HereditaryCataracts are just three. For further info look on the Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club's section on health - http://thesbtc.org.uk/ Look under Breed info & then SBT health.
Unfortunately, just because someone owns a dog & a bitch doesn't mean that the dog is the father. I'm not trying to put you off, she looks beautiful & I'm sure she is what the breeders say she is. But you'll never actually know.
An all white pup is unusual from two virtually all black brindles. Not impossible, but unusual.
It wouldn't hurt to get her hearing tested as soon as possible (after she has settled down, of course!). Deafness is a problem in all white dogs.

Re: Quick colour question
Wow, what a colourful litter. Black, white and blue !
And don’t confuse white deafness with staffy selective deafness
Staffy frenchy cross for your other dog ? I suppose that looks like a small stocky staffy ?

Re: Quick colour question
Check out those ears, indeed !
He is lovely too, I think he’s taken much more staffy.
Note the paw on your son’s foot to make sure he can’t go anywhere without Dave being informed

Awww, cute! I thought yours was the only white! That does look much more likely, with another couple of whites!
Is the other pic the parents? Only you said your pup is a Stafford x French ie? They both look like staffords.

Re: Quick colour question
With black blue and white, one of the grand parents must have been blue, one must have been black with a white parent or something...so basically there is blue in the lines. You will only know if you have DNA and line information.
