Lead suggestions please.

Returned from my walk with Harry on the lead a couple of mornings ago and was just opening the gate when he spotted a cat and decided to chase it! I quickly grapped the lead with my second hand and it cut me badly through the inside of three of my fingers. I bought it a while back because its strong and 40" long but about 2" wide and flat (think its an Ancol one). Can anyone recommend a very strong lead as Harry is a strong boy and although he will walk nicely without pulling he can sometimes "take off" if he sees something interesting. Obviously want something softer than the one I have though, and perhaps rounded might be better. Thanks.

Any lead will give you a burn or a cut if it flies through your fingers.

I use a softex one (like the halti leads) about one & a half inches wide and about 6 feet long. It has a clip on both ends. I like it cause it's much softer than the nylon ones, but it's very strong.

I have an Ezydog Cujo lead and it is fantastic. You can get them online or from Pets at home - I highly recommend it.
