Forgotten housetraining !
Help !
Nifty has suddenly forgotten her housetraining !
This weekend, we have let her out of her play pen much more to let her explore lounge and kitchen.
However, she has now peed in the house once yesterday and 3 times today.
She still has her training pad in her pen and she has full access to her pen when in the house.
I'm just not fast enough to take her outside and I'm not seeing any request from her that she needs to go.
Anyone got any ideas to what's going on ?
A couple of other factors, probably unrelated.
She's teething her molars and they seem to be troubling her (bleeding)
She has discovered the comfort of the sofa, with a helping hand on and off

Re: Forgotten housetraining !
It's actually quite common, so don't fret. Just go back to basics again and you'll probably find this is a little blip that lasts just a few days.

I had the same thing happen to hank we were in shock and didn't know what it was but only lasted a day or 2 so we didn't look too much into it. I expected it to happen when he reached adolescence but it was a lot sooner than that the same age as your nifty and he hasn't bothered since starting adolescence.

Can't really help as Flo was an older rescue and my first Staffy puppy was a long long time ago
