hes forgotten his tricks
So normally, after a walk murphy gets his chew. To get it, he does sit both paws (one at a time) lie down then roll over.
BUt last couple weeks everytime we go for lie down, he does standing jump flop thing then barks and walks off...
Tried retraining but hes just not up for it anymore.
Any ideas how to get him back on it? Has anyone had this or similar before?

Back to basics perhaps, teach him them individually then try them again altogether

I'd say go back to basics and figure out what he's happy with doing, then take it from there. Could be the hot weather is just making him tired and lazy, though.

Agree with the others, go back to the beginning again and start a fresh.
Sounds like he needs the refresher course

Re: hes forgotten his tricks
I reckon it could be the hot weather, someone on here taught their staffie to do a swirl, I have since teached Pixee to do it when she wants her jumbo bone and other treats, but this hot weather, she is not bothered to do it, its like a 1/4 try bless her. But yes back to basics if its not the weather.
