Hi I've been told that my baby is full staffy, but by the look of her I think she's too small to be pedigree. What do you think. She's 7 months old.

She definitely looks like a staffy, she's lovely Smile

With out papers it will be impossible to know whether she is pedigree or not. My first thoughts from the picture were that she looked quite tall/leggy, but it's very difficult to judge from a photograph alone. She's also at an awkward age, at only 7 months old you will never truly know how big she will be until she is about 2, although she should reach her full height in the next few months.

Staffies are not big dogs, the standard states that a female should be 11-15kg and 13"-15" tall, do you know her measurements?

My boy Hugo is now 1 year old and he is 16.5kg and nearly 16" tall. He's at the upper end for the breed standard. He is my 3rd staffy and my first pedigree dog, yet I've been asked a couple of times now what he has been crossed with. The girls I had before him both stood at around 19" tall, weighed over 20kg and in the 13 years that I had them I never got asked once if they were crossed.

She is beautiful, what a lovely dog. She looks quite big but it's hard to see size in pictures

Without giving the height at the shoulder and the weight it is not easy to guess, but looking at the length of her front legs I would say she is most likely going to be a fairly high dog.Looks a nice looking girl.

Maybe she's a true terrier-type staffy as opposed to the balanced type that we often find (over here in any case)

When you say small, are you talking build or overall height because she looks rather leggy in the photo
