Hi all

Does anyone here give dried sprats to their staffies as a treat? Good idea? Bad idea? Smile

We used to use them all the time, due to a previous dog and his allergies. The only thing I'd say against them (other than the smell!) is that they can sometimes be a bit scratchy in the throat. If you do go for them, Zooplus has good prices Wink

Can't add ro already good advice only to say i used natures menu, wainwrights, james well beloved , cows, ears, pigs ears, liver, tripe i would advise against the cow and pig ears until the dogs old enough sometimes they have a tendancy to choke but mia was always fine and make sure they have plenty water too.

Milo loves dried salmon skin rolls altho they do cause a great mess with the silver scales falling off lol so best to make them eat them outside  Tongues  Tongues  I've offered him dried whole fish before but he turned his nose up at them They could've been sprats (are they sardines?) Good for the coat etc
