Dried fruit
Hi guys, I buy my son organic dried fruit it has no added sugar or preservatives , colours etc.. Steffi loves these, but are they ok for her to eat, and if it is, how much can she have? Any advice welcomed

Re: Dried fruit
No problem as long as you're careful & don't give too much. Although they ahve no added sugar, the sugar content is quite high because they're dried, so it's easy to forget that they could put on a lot of weight!
I wouldn't give more than 1 or 2 pieces every few days.
Take care that there are no raisins/sultanas/currants in there, though - these are always an absolute no-no!

Just need to be very careful of the grape derivatives, sultana, raisin and currant - these are a no, no.

Ok.. Thanks I best hide them as she really loves them.. I know fruit is high in natural sugar, so best to keep them for special treats..
