Blood in poo Empty Blood in poo

My 2 yr old has had blood in his poo today. Diet and lifestyle hasn't changed. I have wormed him in the past week. Should i be worried?

That sounds like a vet trip to me. Dark blood is typically from further up - the stomach for example, and can be an indicator of something that needs treatment. It could be nothing but it could be something that requires urgent attention.

I would suggest that needs to be checked out to be on the safe side, it could be nothing but better to err on the side of caution
