There is only one staffordshire bull terrier. Some have longer legs than others, same as some humans have longer legs than others! But they are still staffords.
Sure, you can get staffs that are slightly more 'bully' or slightly more 'terrier', but that's just because the blend of bull & terrier is slightly different. They're still the same breed.

Re: Long legged staffys
There are staffs with long legs ,staffs with short legs, staffs with bent legs, staffs with straight legs.
The staffordshire bull terrier is a 50/50 mix of bull and terrier the standard was set to that so
1 too much terrier why is it a sbt than a terrier?
2 too much bull why is it a sbt than a bull?
I agree with the others there is only one sbt are the others type?

shady is .2 above breed standard , would that make him a long legged staffy lol i dont think so .
imho people advertising long legged staffs are trying to punt crosses
for a start there aint no way you can tell what size a pups going to turn out regardless of what height sire and dam are , you will know this ritch as your boy is bigger than mum and dad

if you phone up the police and said i've got a long legged staffy they would come around and knock your door down. I wouldn't use the terms irish, old type, long legged or anything else.

Re: Long legged staffys
i dont want to scary anybody but tall staffie will be class as pitbull "type" and that why they will knock your front door in.
i agree all those names will just bring trouble to ur door and nobody wants thatSteve wrote:Caryll wrote:richyboy111 wrote:tall staffys-long legged staffys, same thing then

Re: Long legged staffys
A type doen't need to have a pitbull in it just need a few things that are similar to a pitbull then it will be class as a type.
a tall staffy is more liky to have a long muzzle & abit leaner that why they will be class a type.
