Long legged Leroy

So i've now started wondering the age old question of "What kind of staffy is my staffy?"

I know they all come in shapes and sizes but i've been noticin lately just how leggy Leroy is, he has quite an athletic build and although this may sound really daft even when he runs he doesn't run the same as other staffies i've seen (lol i know) He also has quite a big head altho i dont think its overly bully looking.

So thought id post a pic and see what everyone thinks....

I'm no good with crosses myself, and it doesn't matter he looks fab to me

He looks fine to me. There's is no such thing as a long legged Staff, but some do be a bit different than the show standard, and it really doesn't matter one tiny bit. As long as the dog is happy and healthy

He's beautiful!

He looks a similar shape/build to Loki, a bit bigger but very leggy. Loki is a cross though, but there are lots of Staffs that are leggier or more athletic-looking than the typical short and stocky Staffs. He is rather beautiful though

Yeh i know "short-legged" and "long-legged" is a load of poop. They all just come different shapes and sizes - you wouldnt think Diesel's real sis even came from the same litter! shes shorter, stalkier, shorter in the body with tiny ears! an both parents were staffs
i still love him just the same, and i always used to wonder why everyone was always posting about their staffy crosses cause surely it doesn't matter and now i'm one of them lol was just interested to see if any more experienced people could see anythin in him.

If he crossed it is distant imo because there is no other breed jumping out.

Could be be the way he has grown or his mum/dad could have been bigger also.

I'm not good with guessing crosses either sorry, so long as he is happy and healthy why worry

Looks perfectly healthy to me. You don't want him fat!

Looks all staffie to me, Katy is a leggy girl (15" at the shoulder) but all staff. He looks lovely

oh defo not, Diesel put on the beef after she cut her paw and couldnt go for walks and now am struggling to get it off her! Spend all that time weighin out her food feeling bad for her little portions then my oh slips her stuff when im not looking!! so like i said i'll b watching him with Leroy lol

just attempted to measure, he's about 18-19" , he a big strappin lad

Leroy is a very similar shape and colour to my girl ebony is full staff (so the vet says) and she's 21 and a half - 22 inches to the shoulder! She's still changing but she is a VERY leggy girl and her paws are still a bit big for her, she plods around recently she's started gaining a bit more muscle but not much; and her head is tiny still he looks just right to me though

He gorjus, I'm rubbish at crosses either unfortunately but he's fab
