Cats: Yes, with dog savvy ones!
Children: 12yrs plus

Hello, how’re you doin’? Triggers’ the name!!

I’m trying very hard to stay cheerful, but I got thrown out onto the streets so my owner could go on holiday. He knew I was in the pound but didn't come to get me. I'm so relieved that http://www.seniorstaffyclub.co.uk/ came to my rescue and are helping me as I heard the words “put to sleep” being mentioned in the pound!!

I’m a big boy and can be a bit strong on the lead to start with but then I settle down and enjoy my walks and cuddles.

I am not used to having treats so I get a little over excited but I am learning how to use my manners and wait nicely for them.

I like other dogs and I have a girlfriend at the kennels - we give each other kisses. I think I used to live with another dog. I’m quite good with cats too, but probably best with dog savvy ones who don’t run away!!

I’m quite happy to jump into a crate to go travelling in the car, I just settle down and wait to see where we’re going.

I’m very good at the vets and wag my tail at the other dogs there and try to give the vet lots of kisses.

So do you think you’d like to come meet me? I love giving humans cuddles and kisses, and I would so much like to get my very own sofa again!

I have to have my “big boy op” before I can go to a new home, but you could still come and meet me, please.

Trigger will be neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He is in kennels in the Stafford area but can be re-homed anywhere in the UK, pending a successful home visit. However any adopter should be willing to travel to meet him where he is now.

There is an adoption donation of £90 for Trigger and all money donated goes directly to helping all the senior Staffies in our care.
