JACK
Age: 8yrs
Temperament: Very friendly and cuddly
Dogs: Yes - probably best with a calm female
Cats: No
Children: 8yrs plus
Hello everyone I am Jack. I am looking for my forever home can you help me?
I am a very friendly boy, I just love everyone!
I love my walks, my toys, especially my Kong, oh and I love my food and I am pretty friendly with most dogs too.
I am in a foster home at the moment and my foster mom says to tell you that I am a very good boy. I am housetrained (well of course!), and will do as I am told.
I don’t jump on the furniture and like to sleep on my own bed in my foster moms bedroom. I can be left for a couple of hours no problem and I am crate trained.
I may be able to live with another dog if we meet a couple of times and we like one another. I have met an older female girl and we have been fine together so I think a doggy girly friend would be quite nice.
I wag my tail at every dog I meet, I do like to be friendly you know....well that is with canines, I am not to keen on those cats and do like to chase them if I can hee-hee!
I have met a few children briefly and I was fine but I would like any children to be over 8 as Senior Staffy Club don’t know if I have lived with children in the past so toddlers may be too much for me.
You may have noticed I only have one eye. This happened to me a long time ago and I haven’t been able to tell the people at Senior Staffy Club what happened - but it doesn’t cause me any problems and I get around just fine thank you.
I travel well in the car, I am used to a crate in the car and am getting used to sitting on the seat in a harness as well.
I do like to go two good walks a day - more if you will take me! I walk very well on a harness and do not pull at all. I can also do a few commands like sit, wait and paw.
So do you think you could be my forever family?
If you think you could please contact Senior Staffy Club it tells you how to below
See you soon I hope - love Jack xxx
Jack is neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped. He is currently in foster in the Stafford area but can be rehomed anywhere in the UK, pending a successful home visit. However, any potential adopter should be willing to travel to meet Jack where he is now.
There is an adoption donation of £90 for Jack and all money donated goes directly to helping all the seniors in our care.
If you think you could offer Jack a new home please ring Kate on 07513 591784 to find out more about him or complete the online adoption application form on the website www.seniorstaffyclub.co.uk
