Re: colour changing
The same happened with Molly, she is blue but is getting fawn brindle patches.
Apparently it's because of the parents blue plus blue doesn't make blue.

Re: colour changing
It's quite disappointing when u think ure buying a blue plus how much they cost for it to end up a different colour my last Staffordshire was the same colour the day he passed away as the day we got him he was brindle & white thanks

Re: colour changing
Thing is though it's the same with humans being born with bright blonde hair doesn't mean it will stay that way, often as people get older their colouring changes slightly.
It doesnt make a difference to the pup and it shouldn't make a difference to how much you love them. Like is said Molly is the same.
I think it all comes back to people putting blues on a pedestal when actually they make up over 40% of the breed.

Re: colour changing
She is 19 weeks tomorrow,
her brindle was showing already when we picked her up. So I did the same as you hunted round to find out what's going on!
Doesn't help that she is a complete Sun worshipper and lies out in the sun as often as she can, pretty sure she will be blonde by the end of the summer the sun is going to completely bleach her!! Ha ha

My Dodger's a blue brindle who started out being just blue, but I love his stripes and people are forever complimenting him on his colour!
