It's actually more important that Bella takes on fluid whether that be a drink or as part of a wet meal. 24-48 hours but any longer and I would seek advice.

I've never yet known a Staffy to deliberately starve so I would think that once the anaesthetic wears off she will wolf the lot down.

Let us know how she gets on Smile

You can feel quite groggy after anesthetic so I wouldn't overly worry about one meal. As Ian says, try and tempt her to some fluids though.

I know when i've had anaesthetic it made me feel ill for a good couple of days after so I don't blame her if she doesn't want to eat, but as said, fluids are the most important thing, if she can't or won't drink for 24hrs i would get more medical help

I did that with Katy after her spaying op then I offered her chicken & rice which she ignored until I started hand feeding her then she soon tucked in. She'll be back to her normal bouncy self tomorrow Smile
