Eye problem
Anyone know what this could be?
The corners of her eyes (close to the nose) are red and have that brown spot. It looks almost like she would have a fish scale on that side of her eyes.

Re: Eye problem
I'm not sure to be honest, maybe someone else will have an idea but if you're at all concerned get a vet opinion.

Re: Eye problem
Seeing a vet first thing in the morning. Was hoping to get an opinion that might help me sleep well tonight

Re: Eye problem
Looks like a pigment, which in a puppy is more likely to be a congenital trait. I would not worry too much about it, but go to the vet to confirm anyway.

Re: Eye problem
Glad to read it's all cleared up. It could have been inadvertently self inflicted possibly.

Re: Eye problem
Took her to the vet today. She is fine at the moment. They said that it might be a beginning of "cherry eye" but they can't be sure at the moment, we'll keep an eye on her.
