Hiya! Misty was spayed after her second season when she was a year and a half old. I don't think it changed her personality negatively at all. In fact I think it made her a bit calmer as when we first had her she came into season after a few days and her lady bits were always quite large since then and she hated any dog sniffing her. Since she was spayed they have gone down and she is fine letting dogs sniff her.
The vets did warn us to be careful with her food as it's easy for them to get overweight but she is fine, hasn't put on any extra weight.
Good luck with Bellas operation, she will be fine Smile

Ask your vet to confirm but a spayed bitch is suppose to need less food, 15% less than a non spayed bitch, wont hurt to drop her down a few grams of food if she does get a little podgy especially if exercise is the same as before.

My girl had repeated phantom pregnancies before spat, so it did change some of her behaviours but definitely for the better. Otherwise, no personality change, no aggression. She didn't put on weight.

Katy was spayed after her 2nd season & like biscuit had phantom pregnancies! Since spaying her personality hasn't changed at all & weight is right for her size. She is walked & played with a lot so I don't have to worry about weight gain.

at her age, it won't affect her personality or growth at all. certainly, it won't make her aggressive.

weight could be an issue, but just keep an eye on her, and if it looks like she's increasing then just cut down her food a little.
