nail clippers  Empty nail clippers

Ive notice Bella's dew claw is getting to long i did want to trim it but to be honest I'm not that confident at doing it especially when she's is funny about people touching her paws is there any thing i can use other than them clippers many thanks

It can be tricky but if you're confident and mean business you could try a nail file. Obviously a harsh file will do the job quicker but just mind you don't catch the quick. Smile

Ask your vet to show you a few times and then have a go with him there, maybe. Otherwise, some use dremmel files, but they can be noisy and take longer, making the whole experience more uncomfortable.

Does she have light or dark claws? Liz gave me a brilliant step by step plan for desensitising the handling of paws - if she doesn't come along soon I'll get onto the laptop this eve and share it with you Smile

Thank u all she has light nails but im partially sighted so everthing is that little bit harder she will let me touch her paws but anyone els she doesnt like it im not sure why because i have always touched her paws and checked her teeth from a pup but she is stubborn lol
