No not this time, i don´t have the time for a third dog right now since th ones i allready got is keeping me busy enought with training and shows and so on...

Yes they are soon ready to go to new homes but there has been a lack of interest in these beautiful ones, and i cannot understand that since there is on the mothers side unique lines that don´t exist in sweden other then in her...

And two of the females my friend wants to keep the breeding rights on but the rest is for sale....

I really don't like your friend right now, some may think its jealousy but i will never admit that. their gorgeous. I can not believe there is hardly no interest in them as they are stunning, perhaps should of aranged homes before hand.

No i find that hard to believe myself....

I have to summon all of my strength right now not to get one because they have all the qualitys that i am looking for in a Dogo Canario, alot of character since they are only 6 weeks and is already showing signs of beeing good protection dogs..

They are also very heavy boned wich is what they are suppose to be....

But i have promised my fiancé that we will wait until next year and focus on the ones we already got at home...

This Is probably a dumb question, but are dogo canarios the same breed as presa canarios? I'm just asking cos I found out that charlie has presa canario in him (I knew there was Mastiff in him somewhere!)

I found out last week. I've always said I thought he had mastiff in his blood. Admittedly I though it was English Mastiff but it turns out his great grandfather or great great grandfather was a presa canario. Looking at the pic of the fawn dogo with the cropped ears, if it's the same breed as the presa, I can certainly see that in charlie.

No it is not a dumb question at all Smile

Presa Canario or Perro de Presa Canario as the breeds orginal name, but since FCI thought it had a negative tone to it they decided to change the name to Dogo Canario when they accepted the breed in 2001, but some still prefer to the dog as Presa Canario.

No they're not gem. The banned breeds are pitbull, fila brasilero, japanese tosa and dogo argentino. No Presa on the banned list - yet.

The last three are all types of Mastiff, another very misunderstood breed Sad

I need your help Smile

The last pictures of the puppies shows the all brindle without any white markings, i am not going to have her but is taking her home on un decided time for training and so on before she is sold, now i need a good name on her Smile

It should be a name fitting this breed since i want her to be a working dog rather then a show dog....

they are on the banned list here in Aus, I was just looking into it yesterday. they are absolutely gorgeous puppies!!!
I love the look of all mastiffs, but don't think i would ever get one just due to the cost of feeding! haha I love big push over dogs though.
I have never actually met a mastiff type dog though, so one day I may fall in love and have to get one haha

hmmmm... name her Precious. hahaha. no don't.

I always like Molly for a girl dogs name, but that probably has nothing to go with the breed.

what about name it after something to do with the canaries... the only island with a good ring to it is probably Hierro which I looked up and it means Iron in spanish
