But here is my Dogo Canario female Justina....

Parents Riochas Riverdance and Okki show Xantiland....

Imported from norway but with a polish father....

He's nice never heard of them but just googled images and alot seem to have there ears cropped, it looks nicer with the full ears

Justina is a female and yes they are usually cropped but i also prefer them with ears....

They are very protective of their owners and suspicous of strangers combined with a strong temprament so they are not a breed for everyone you really have to understand their background before you decide to own one...

That is all depending on the individuall...

But yes some can be difficult others just strong natured....

But as with all these mastiff type guard/protection dogs you have to have a proper knowledge around the breed otherwise they can be really dangerous, just because they have alot of character and has a tendensy to act first and ask questions later when it comes to protect its owner.....

Some say that they dont have a place in our sociaty but i beg the difference there is worse kinds of dogs then these.....

But they need a really proper training and socalisation as pups....

I can honestly say that i feel 100% save when i walk at night with Justina since she is not alowing anyone she does not know within 10 meters from me....

I can not tell exactly because there is a couple of breeders who is not serious at all Sad

One is spitting out litter after litter after litter with out any goal in their breeding the pups are not typical to the breed at all and the other one breeds and sells pups after non health tested parents and there is only after 2 litters 6 pups that has been put to sleep becuase of different health issues....

But yes the breed is starting to grow in numbers but in the wrong way...

these dogs would be the same as presa canario ???

these are not a banned breed in the uk as far as im aware ,,,

there is a breeder in scotland , i considered buying a pup because i couldnt find a staff i liked ,,,

beautiful dogs ,,, and i agree they look much better fully eared

she looks a great dog in top condition....she does seem to have staffy traits how they lie upside down like a frog....lol.......i would definetly consider this breed as i dont think these are on the banned list in the uk?....well i say i would if i didnt own an attention seeking mardarse staffy...lol

they not banned over here but they may fall into type.. because the not KC regsitered of official breeds

they do look like a good looking breed i'm not sure about the cutting their ears off like some breeders do.

Yes they are a good breed but you have to be totally sure of what you have on the other side of the lead, they are most protective of their owner wich may cause problems when you walk them so they don´t get the chance to attack other people or animals they consider to be a threat to you....

This breed is not for everyone but can be a wonderful companion when the dog gets the right training and socialisation...

They are very demanding and love to work and keep their brain going at all times...
