Winston Update and also worried about breed.

Little update:  Winston is now 6 month old and getting very big!
He is coming along nicely, Me and him have moved back to my parents due to me and my partner's break up. He hasn't suffered from the break up apart of me thinks he relieved to be away from all the kids screaming constantly. I've noticed he tends to hide if he hears raised voices/arguments, anyone else puppy do that?
But He know goes off the lead now down the beach he plays fetch and is super with he's recall apart from when he is playing with another dog and then we have to pull him away when it times for play time to finish , he gets so excited and into a play. We found he doesn't bark or growls at any dogs - he only barks if something makes him jump or if he isn't sure on something at home, I imagine that's him protecting he's home! Overall he's turning into such a good dog! though he likes to nick my sister's slippers but that's just funny!

Anyway while we walk him we do get stopped and people like to fuss him etc and we often get questioned about he's breed after telling them he is a staffy. We met both he's parents when we went to meet Winston at 8 weeks! He's mum is full staff she is the typical brindle staff, he's dad is a staff (I think) he is the normal size as a staff, but is muscely and has quite a big head. People are surprised when we say Winston is 6 months and that's when they question he's breeding. Both parents were rescued as puppies. when I have asked the breeder also my friend she is sure that he is full staff.

Glad to hear that he is growing so well! He is gorgeous Lovely photos!
As for the hiding from raised voices, they can sense our emotions and anger so when you shout, they may get scared and run to somewhere they feel safe.
Bane is a massive woos and will run away from a lot of loud noises, I guess it's a natural reaction.

As for the breed, if you have seen both parents then there's not so much of a question about it. If neither had KC papers, then obviously you can only take the breeders word or knowledge as to what breed they are and so what he is.
He looks like a staff to me and a very handsome chap too! Just a big boy!

As for breeding, I've no idea! He does look big for a full staff.

He does have a bit of a boxer look about him but mostly staffy gorgeous dog

Firstly what a handsome boy! does look that there maybe a different breed in there somewhere, but would say mostly staff, whatever what a proud Mumma you must be stunning!
