Worried Empty Worried

Post by Kauto Tue Nov 25 2014, 16:39

Hi all. We're picking Kauto up on Sunday and went to visit him again last night.
Probably over thinking it as we were only really watching him when the puppies were playing.
He kept wandering off on his own into their kitchen whereas the others were running round and play fighting and looked a bit nervous. Also when he was running his back right leg didn't move the same as the others. He did join in with the playing and fighting and I know he's only a puppy so his co-ordination isn't right yet but we were worried about him when we got home.
Are we just over thinking things like that you reckon? He was friendly when we picked him up, licking us etc.

Have the breeders put the pups under the vet for general checks etc?

Oh yeah, they have mum, dad, grandma n grandad. All health checked. Pups have been wormed, vet checked and microchipped and KC Registered. Lovely people selling them.
Probably worrying about nothing to be fair.

Yip, you're probably worrying over nothing. We took our pup to our vet as soon as we could for a once over. You need to register them anyway so the sooner the better

That's all good Smile may well just be worrying. I'd follow Pete's advice when she gets home.

When we got Harrie I left a few weeks then got a vet check done we made a list of things we had noticed over the time and asked the questions some of them sounded a bit silly but I asked anyway.

Cheers

I see your point Stu, but the pup will be going to the vet after two weeks for the second jab. We had very good breeders who did everything by the book but for the sake of £20, a trip to the vet I've used for 14 years gave me extra piece of mind over the breeders vet who I knew nothing about.
