[rtl]I'm devestated I socialised peppa from 8 weeks weeks especially with other dogs and . She finished her 2nd season about 10 days ago and I've got a different dog every time I took her to the park in the last few days something happened always with the stupid ball! I took her and Louis the 5 month old Frenchie that she loves at 6:30 pm when thers nobody and out of nowhere came a puppy and still peppas ball I took it right off him and throw it to peppa she came back and jump on his throat it was awful I manage to catch her twice but she slipped as I had leather gloves by the 3rd time I got out of breath but manage to hold her then looked for my bag with £250 cash that I dropped when the attack started and saw Louis running after the other pup and owner the other way and she kept hitting him with a nylon bag! I shouted at her to leave him alone grabbed him and went back home we were 10 minutes at the park.[/rtl]
I will get a long lead but don't know what went wrong she was in season hasn't seen her dad for a while but she won't see him again and there's nothing I can do about it she always was my dog and responsibility.
I was quite down for a while now and I know she feels it but she never goes without anything . I could tell shes more stressed and barking more lately I don't know what to
Do I never had dog with dog aggression before I don't know if I can trust her again I'm having 2 dogs on Sunday for home boarding and I'm scared what kind of life will she have with all this energy and no way to run and release it.I'm doing dog walking and she usually comes with me the only reason I didn't take her was her season.but I still took her out in quieter times the reason im doing it is to spend more time with peppa but maybe that's causing her resentment or that is her personality coming through I still love her to bits just do gutted.
Any training advice is more then welcome

Hello! First of all, don't panic. A dog aggressive dog is not the end of the world; it can be managed if you're willing. Firstly, is it always when there is a resource invoked that she becomes aggressive? That can mean people, aswell as food/toys for some dogs. Was she walked much when she was in season? Could it have been pent up tension/hormonal problems after her season? Can you cancel the home boarders/not take her on group walks for a while whilst you figure out the problem, your dog shouldn't suffer/be locked away for the sake of others.

Realistically, as we've spoken about before Peppa has had full on fights with other dogs on multiple occasions - maybe this is a learnt behaviour. Which could work in your favour to resolve it, if it is. But I would be much more careful when socializing her in general and a long lead, and possibly a muzzle might be an idea.

I hope it's hormonal she's obviously going through something but I can't tell what only she's very stressed and she was never before.
The only reason I took this job is to be with peppa could it backfired and made her jealous I don't really know
It's connected to the ball 90% of the time .
She had two fights in the past she never started but since her last season she's the aggressor
In most of her fights Louis was present they love each other but could it be thd cause of her performing maybe it makes her more defensive and agressive the change was when he was threatened a while ago and she jumped on the other staff

More then everything I'm stressed as I'm home boarding 2 dogs on Sunday one of them she had a fight over a ball but I stopped it ( a nightmare) and they seemed fine after they know each other for months and get along but I'm afraid it's too late to cancel although the owner is aware they had a fight.
I'm just upset as I thought that with the right socialisation I won't have these problems also my dog is completely off balance and I don't know how to help her. So frostrating

Perhaps just leave the ball out of reach for the time being. And try what the others have said. Perhaps just a walk with no toys. And only take Peppa out with the ball? She is still very young too.

Can you afford to see a behaviourist if I can find one for you? Vets aren't qualified to advise on behavioural advice..
