Aggression
Hi all just wondering if all staffies get agressive towards other dogs? I've taken Zeus to the local dog beach nearly every day since he was 3 months old and he plays with other dogs fine on and off the leash. Will that be enough socialization for him? I'd be devastated if he couldn't run freely off the leash on the beach when he gets older.

Re: Aggression
Hello Some do some don't it's not something that can be predicted. Unfortunately, some staffies just don't like other dogs there's no rhyme or reason, mine is great with dogs he knows but a nightmare with dogs he doesn't so I pop him on a lead whenever I see a strange dog approaching, it's just common courtesy and a way to make sure I can stop things happening before they start BUT he still goes off lead, in fact he's off lead a lot just not around other dog's he doesn't know. He does have his doggy playmates and I let him off lead with them with no problems whatsoever. I socialised Axl loads when he was a pup so it's just his nature and I'll always have to keep close watch over him with dogs he doesn't know.
However, there are staffies I know who are brilliant with all different kinds of dogs whether they know them or not so you really can't tell. I think what you should do though is just make sure his recall is 100%, keep doing what you're doing and letting him play, keep an eye on play make sure your pup doesn't get too excitable or dominant and you're golden
Also another golden rule which I'm sure you do anyway is make sure you pop him on a lead when you see a dog on a lead ahead so he doesn't go running up to it.
I hope that helps

Re: Aggression
Can't add anything to Debs post, spot on! Just keep doing what you're doing providing all body language is positive and play is fair etc
