Talli off to the Vets tomorrow

My little Talli girl is off to the vets tomorrow. We've decided to have her spayed sooner rather than later as ive read a few articles about it being a bit easier to find the bits and pieces when they are younger.

Also, our local Easipetcare based at the RSPCA in Coventry have good prices.

We cant wait to see how she copes with "The cone of shame" when she gets home.

Does anyone have any tips for her convalescence?

she'll be in a bit of discomfort the first night home,they should give her a shot of pain relief before she leaves the vet,some will not want to eat any thing,quite normal,if you do feed her make sure its just plain boiled chicken and rice as this is nice and light on her tummy,give her some quiet time,if you have children make sure they let her rest and not fuss her too much,just keep her nice and warm and dont let her run around or jump up,they soon bounce back to normal within a day or so,good luck Talli,do let us know how she is oh and try and not to worry.

I can only echo what Stella has written above. Just try and keep her restful as possible.

mia was very tired after being spayed i can only add whats been added and not let the dog jump up on a bed or sofa as this will burst the stitches.
