Weird looking poo (graphic)
Hi all,
Noticed yesterday that Zeus's poo was looking a bit different than usual (smaller and much more greener). Took him for a walk this morning and this thing came out:
As you can see, it looks like it's coated with some sort of film/foam, doesn't look right.
Has anyone had experience with this sort of thing?

Looks like little yellow bits all through it, it wouldn't be a rubber toy would it? maybe something he's scavenged? If it was difficult to digest that might explain the colour, or maybe the thing itself was green. He'll feel better after he's cleared it though i should think. Sometimes if they drink ditch water it turns things green too.

Flo can sometimes have weired looking poo with a slimy film. It's usualy a one off so I tend to just keep an eye on her.

Re: Weird looking poo (graphic)
The coating is def a protection from a foreign body. she has eaten something she shouldnt and the body has taken measures to protect against it with a mucus membrane. have you given hide chews or anything like that recently? tbh its nothing much to worry about as a one off, looks freaky to us but the fact that it has been passed out is a good sign. if it keeps happening you may want to take a sample and get it analyzed but for now try and think about anything you have given the dog or it may have had access to that differ
