Took this photo of Zeus's crown jewels last week and decided I'd keep an eye on it. Throughout the week, it seemed to go back to normal but just had a look again now, its come back again. What could this be??

Have you felt it? Is it a hard lump, or the same texture/feel as the rest?

It feels exactly the same as the rest, its just a smaller bit attached to the main bit... if you understand what I mean.

I would say it's just fatty tissue, but a word with your vet would put your mind at rest.

Has that lump appeared out of no where? I would def get it checked out. Best to be on the safe side. The vets can do a quick needle aspiration if needed to see if there is anything suspicious.

Let us know how he gets on

You don't need to go to the vets.

The extra lump is known as the epididymus and i can see them on harv right now they are supposed to be there!

The tissue of the epididymis should feel slightly different to the testis as it is a tube coiled closely together. If the lump feels similar to the testis I would still get it checked out. If you look closely though it does appear that there is a similar less pronounced lump in the same position on the other testicle. This could perhaps indicate that the left epididymis may be inflamed or infected. An infected epididymis left untreated could be very harmful. I'm no expert by the way, just know a little about balls.

Hmm.. I guess you're right, I should get it checked just incase. It did feel similar, they both felt soft, I also noticed that either of his balls look a different size? The right one looks bigger than the left?
