Can you get a picture of it Michelle ?... Anything that is unusual should be checked out by a vet to be on the safe side.

Are there any whiskers coming out of it? It may be one of the whisker lumps...can't remember what they're called but Bane has a big one under his chin Smile

give it a day, could be a reaction to a scuff. usually if it has appeared fast and got large its swelling or a reaction to something. if it hasnt slowed or gone down after 24 hours visit the vet but sill may be nothing. had so many lumps and bumps on my boy its crazy but all turned out to be noting worthy of worry. exception is if its swelling fast in an hour then seek vet advice stright away as that an allergic reaction

Zeus has the odd lump/bump appear now and again, as a general rule, I give it 48 hours, if it doesn't appear to be going down, I'll then go to the vets but most of the time, it goes.

If your concerned you are right to take her to the vet. Hopefully its just one of those silly benign things our dogs love to worry us sick over.
Pink breaks out with odd lumps round her muzzle if I feed her the wrong type of food or she manages to snaffle something she should not have.

The earlier you get it checked the better whatever it is, the chances are it's a very normal thing like a wart or even acne, my dog Toby had a fat lump on his belly but was totally harmless. Make yourself feel better too by knowing for sure. Let us all know too, we're extremely nosey but care too. Smile
