Bella has been spayed

This morning Bella was spayed and she is now constantly shaking and whining, is there anything I can do to help with her pain

Mia slept after she was speyed lots of gentle calm voice and reassurance perhaps calming music

did the vet give her pain meds before you brought her home?make sure she is kept warm and calm,if you have any young children make sure they dont bother her,keep reasuring her and dont let her try to climb the stairs if she normally sleeps up there,i'm sure she will be a lot better in the morning,just be there for her

I felt terrible after i got mia speyed she was very tired and she slept most that day wasnt till next morning i put rice peas carrots and chicken out she nibbled at her dog food i knew she woukdnt have to go through torture i was relieved when she recovered.

Stella, she was given pain medication but she is still in a lot of pain when she tries to move. Thanks for the advice

the first night is always the worst,i remember staying up all night with sash as she was the same crying and shaking,its horrible to see them in pain,if she wants to go out for the toilet just go out with her and watch her to make sure she is ok,she will be a lot better in the morning,if she is wanting food boil some chicken and add brown rice with it as it will be gentle on her tummy,just give small portions to begin with,she prob wont want to eat tonight thou so dont worry,when do you have to take her back t your vets?

I agree with Stella Craig. Just keep her warm and make her feel safe.

Reading this post make me think I don't wanna do it to peppa. Can't do it.

Bella has now been awake for an hour now. she had a little sick when she woke up but she hasn't been whining and she's able to walk without showing any signs of pain.

so glad she's a lot better today,she'll soon be back to normal,good luck at keeping her calm
