Axl has a histiocycoma (spelt wrong probably) that lump I put a picture up of is not as innocent as I thought! Anyway we have cream for it but it may have to be cut out. It looks horrible all weapy and red Sad just hoping the cream gets rid of it. Anyone else's dog had one of these?

Yes! This is what the vet thinks that Bugs tummy lumps are, she had one removed and has had a few come and go since. Personally, I would have it removed with margins for peace of mind, that's generally the recommended treatment and seems to be curative. I had Bug's bloods done at the same time just to be sure and all were perfect,

Trust me, I know how scary these lumps can be, but from my research/experiences with Bug they're quite lumpy/bumpy dogs in general. You're in good hands with an early diagnosis from your vet. Cells are funny things and sometimes they go haywire!

Hope Axl is ok Debs. Misty has a red lumpy spot type thing under her armpit that came up recently. Took her to the vets when we found it and vet said staffs are lumpy dogs and not to worry as she is very young and its not bothering her.

Hope Axl will be back to usual soon x

Aww bless Axl. My Daisy is very lumpy girl, if we had them all removed we wouldn't have much dog left she has so many. Daisy is ten and has had one removed before and they said it was nothing to worry about. The vet told me if you can wiggle the lump and it doesn't appear to have a root to it, it is usually a benign cyst. I hope it's nothing to worry about for you. xx

Dodger has had a couple of these histiocytoma lumps and they just went on their own, it took about 3 weeks. Hopefully Axl's will clear up soon.

Fingers crossed the cream sorts it out but it sounds like you've caught it early anyway, so hopefully it will be on the back foot one way or another soon. X
