Re: dogs grooming each other??
Its not a problem at all and is quite comman. I would watch they dont get to obsessive with it though. My ty can get quite obsessed with licking kaos's ears and can make them really sore and bleed (although its usually the first sign of another ear infection 4 kaos). x

Re: dogs grooming each other??
We have 3 dogs, only 1 the youngest is a Staffie and they have always groomed each other, its a group thing, they would groom us too if we let them
The first time our older dogs groomed Polly she hated it but they were determined she was going to have a clean face and ears, now she loves it and grooms them back. It's not a problem or a bad thing for them to do, its natural.

My lot are always grooming comforting each other, its a sign of affection the who starts the grooming is usually the more submissive and more affectionate.

its funny you say that cause its both who would start it different times obviously i know their 5 months but theres no sign of either one being the dominant one. Their fed serperately and if anyone is the dominant one its me ha \\\\\\\\m/

Re: dogs grooming each other??
My old rottie cross was the boss of our dogs but he was the one who would often decide the others needed a wash Now its our JR cross who thinks he is the boss who starts the grooming. I don't think he is going to be able to pin Polly down for too much longer though
