Grooming
Hi
This is a bit off an odd one but as some off u know I've said showing my puppy penny . We done well so far with her in her first to championship shows she's won her puppy bitch class and we even had the judge in one come up to me after to tell me he thought she had great promise and that if she was a little more mature she would off been very close to the green star (cc) winner. Plus were having lots of fun a meet some lovely ppl.
But back to my question I seen lots of ppl using what look and women tights to groom there dogs before the go in to the ring. Has anyone come across this and if so wat is it for. I us a rubber hound glove and a velvet finishing mitt on penny

I use this on Rocky, he has a lovely shiney coat anyway so it's an easy job:

Re: Grooming
It's just a cheap (and effective) alternative to the velvet finishing mitt!
I tried it once with Bandit, though, and it kinda made his fur all static electricitified! I got a shock when I touched him afterwards, and I didn't think the judge would appreciate it so I didn't use it again!
Well done, by the way........I don't suppose any pics were taken?

You could use a chamois leather to help shin your dogs coat, they are good for smooth coated dogs
