Random reaction to a man
We're trying to help teach Bane to not jump at people, pay more attention to us more while out and improve his listening. When out walking we stop to do the occasional trick or a sit and eye contact for example. He's getting better at this and even stopped to sit when a boy walked past this morning without me asking.
I then tried it again with the next man we passed, he sat very well and was doing great until the man got to about 2m away and he started growling and barking and then started lunging as if to go for him.
He has never done this before and usually loves people. Is it likely it could just be a one off and he didn't like the look of that man or is it something to watch? Obviously it's not acceptable behavior. Bit baffled by why he did it? :/

My guess is he didn't like the look of him. Animals are amazing in what they can read in a person.

Was the guy wearing a hat or a hood ? Sometimes when Rocky cannot see someones face clearly he will be very wary of whoever it is.

Re: Random reaction to a man
No he had sat down and the lead was loose, I had even turned to the man and said "it's alright he's friendly, we are just doing some training!" as he looked cautious to pass. Typical for him to then turn around and lunge at him!
I think he may have been wearing a hat! But he is used to that with the OH...

Something to watch but probally a one off. Suki will bark and growl at one particular guy in a Hawaii hat or anyone dressed similar. Once she gets to him though she will usually give him a kiss and bark some more.

Re: Random reaction to a man
I think the man lives in the area so we might come across him again, will try to remember see if it happens again!
Do you know why she reacts that way to that particular dress or person? and then is totally fine! They are odd at times!

Just one of those things Emma as long as your aware, he may have picked up if the man was a little nervous to pass. They do pick up on very slightest of anxiousness. Saying that Vin has been acting odd of late

Debs it was morning so was getting lighter and Bane goes a bit nuts in the dark too! Has to sniff everything and pulls everywhere!

Honestly i have no idea. I don't really worry though since it's just barking and not aggression.
