Nice Reaction
Was such a change yesterday. Took Knox with us, as normal, to the bank holiday massive market at Eccleshall. Normally he gets a little fidgety and nervous cos it's packed so this time we took him earlier in the day so it wasn't so busy.
Anywho, as it was cold I put his camoflage fleecy hoody on him, cos of his bald strip on his back, and as we were walking round so many people commented on him and said how beautiful he was and wanted to pet him. Chimes of "aww look at him in his little coat, how cute is he?!" Must say makes a change from people pulling their kids out the way and saying "don't touch they bite, nasty dogs".
We must of have 18 people come up to us and talk to us about him and kids wanting to stroke him. Even one woman turned round to see her child, in a pushchair (possibly about 18 months), reaching out to stroke Knox and actually said "is it ok if she strokes him? she loves dogs". Normally you'd get the usual "leave it alone, don't touch".
Anywho - thought I would just share my experience with you all.
Maybe, just maybe, some people are starting to realise that they're not all bad

Re: Nice Reaction
When we took Loki to puppy classes, one of the trainers said how coats and bandanas and etc. always make people look at them like they're less intimidating (as if they're ever intimidating ), but whether it was the coat or just nice people for a change, glad to hear everyone loved Knox. He must have had fun being fussed over by new people

Re: Nice Reaction
Thanks Guys I think it helped him not be so nervous.
Although he wasn't impressed when a little bichon frissé shoved her cold nose up his bum when he hadn't seen her sneak up on him lol

Re: Nice Reaction
Great story. I recently got Logan a wee coat and everytime he has wore it people have been really lovely to him. Commenting on the coat rather than the fact that he's a stafford. It's great

Re: Nice Reaction
It's strange how it seems to make a difference to peoples opinions. I only put it on him cos of his bald patch. Didn't want him getting cold or people pointing and staring lol
He was very spoilt for being a good boy too. Tennis balls galore, cows ears, lots of bags of biscuits and a huge dumbell rope with two massive balls attached

Although - he is still a little bugger and today has tried to sit on our windowsill in the front bedroom and has ripped my blinds down
