Re: yELLOW MUCAS DISCHARGE
I'd call the vet, to be honest. She shouldn't be having any sort of discharge at her age. She may have an infection.

Re: yELLOW MUCAS DISCHARGE
Took Makie to the vet as this morning she had the discharge back again and vomiting and pooing all yellow and out come some worms, well the vet said that the yellow discharge was vaginitus and is usually went the bitch comes in to season so I was advised to let her have 1 season then have her done, he wormed her again and gave her 2 injections 1 for stop her being sick and the other was a long-term antibiotic. just thought I would let you know incase it happens to some one else

Re: yELLOW MUCAS DISCHARGE
Glad you've sorted her out!
I'm intrigued, though - is the vet saying that she's coming into season now, or just that it often happens when they come into season?

Re: yELLOW MUCAS DISCHARGE
She is 12 weeks old it is common in bitches as they approach the first season but it can happen in pups also it is an infection they can get from birth and he advised me to let her have a season then have her spayed if not it can carry on it's a bit like a water infection (thrush) in bitches so will let the injections run its course and see if it clears up but it is common in a lot of breed , look up vaginitus on the net and read about it , it looks more scary than it is

Re: yELLOW MUCAS DISCHARGE
wow poor little Malkie.. and you !!
She certainly seems young to get that sort of thing, but hopefully she is on the road to recovery after her jabs... Never a dull moment is there with our doggies! Glad she is okay...

Re: yELLOW MUCAS DISCHARGE
the vet said give her bland food for 3 days rice or pasta thats a laugh when she was weighed at the vets 3 weeks ago she was 3.1 kg 3 weeks later she is 5.9 she eats like a horse spuds any veg any meat shoes bras pants slippers doors bricks, 4 hours after the vet today she is picking up and eating her brothers food for adult dogs , she just grabs a meaty bite then legs it so to stop her eating thats a laugh she is small but she can shift
