pleasantly surprised
Well, Mia has been back with us 8 days now and her muzzle training has gone exceptionally well, she is so good with it, bless her. While out on her walks I wasn't quite sure how people would react to her. As you know, walking a staff ie can have people cross the road or come out with some negative comment. Walking a pit bull type with a muzzle left me thinking what an earth I would have to contend with.
However I have been pleasantly surprised by the reactions I'm getting. Lots of fuss from dog owners, some I know, some I don't people not giving me a wide berth and letting their dogs come over to say hello, which Mia loves. She is a lot quieter now she wears a muzzle but thank goodness we can still both enjoy our walks together. Taking her on the beach tomorrow as dogs are allowed back on for the winter so looking forward to that

So very pleased for you both Debs. It's been a terrible couple of months for both of you and now you can get back to some sort of normality
