Winter Coat for Staffies

New to Staffie ownership, folk keep telling me they get cold out in winter, any opinion on this and if so whats the best dog coat to buy?

To be honest my girl doesn't really feel it. She is quiet bare on her belly but does just fine, we just make sure to dry her off good when we get in if it's wet out but the cold isn't a problem.

There is a woman who makes fleecy coats to measure on eBay. You just sent her your dog's measurements and she posts you one that is the right size. Several people on this forum have bought these, including me (ie, for my dog!) Put 'fleece staffie' into the eBay search. My dog does feel the cold and he wears this during the night in winter when the heating goes off. If he doesn't have it, he will be shivering in the morning. This suggestion is for warmth only, it's not waterproof.

I have Danish Design coats for Moo - really rate them

Danish Design is the one = flleecy inside and waterproof outside.

Vin wont wear one he just creeps like an Armadillo!

Yeah Daisy has serval coats and jumpers

we have one for sash,fleece liner that you can take out and leaves a water proof outer

We're going to be getting one for our dogs too

Think I'm going to get Pru a coat for christmas. Massively tempted by the barbour ones but at £39 maybe not!

We have the Danish Design coat too, Rolo loves it, keeps him toastie warm and dry

Oh i didn't know Barbour have them,we make a lot off Barbour stuff at my work so ill go into the shop and see if they have them
