Warm winter coat - which one?
Can anyone recommend a warm winter coat that would fit a small staffie bitch - she's only 56cm (22 inches) around the chest, and is 15.5kg.
Not too bothered about its looks (as long as it's not pink with "Little Princess" emblazoned on it ).
Just want something that will keep the chills off her as I do a lot of 6am walking and she's a bit underweight and therefore very low bodyfat.
Thanks.

I would reccomend a dog rug by rambo Horseware, its practical, easy to clean, waterproof, and adjustable so you could re-use it on another if needs be, or adjust as she grows, mines lasted 3 years now and is subjected to a lot of ruff and tumble Xx

I saw these in our local petshop yesterday Keith and they look quite good , have a detachable fleece inside and also elastic to go round the back legs if needed. Didn't buy them from there though as I had a ruck with him when I saw an advert for spaniel puppies with tails docked on his board

Looks like a medium would fit her quite well.
Thanks.

They look good, too Dave - seems very inexpensive for a waterproof one with removable lining.
Hmm.
Decisions, decisions.

I have to walk Moo at set times, whatever the weather, so I just prefer not to have any material that can absorb the wet, a rug just wipes clean and drys within mins, perfect for wet, muddy walks Xx

Think I'll buy your one and Dave's one - am aiming to get another foster in shortly, so will need two anyway.

Re: Warm winter coat - which one?
Lol, some of the fosterers have five dogs and more in at a time - usually little ones mind, and in big houses, too.
Would like to take in a few but could you imagine the house if they played while I was out at work.

I need two anyway Dave so will be good to see how they stack up against each other.
Want to get a hoodie as well but can't find any with: "Warning, I lick ears" on them.

dave i've got that coat for sash,i brought it last year for her,she had a size 33(just checked)i'm sure it was a medium.i did try it on her before i brought it as i thought the elastic on the back legs might rub but it was fine, they wash well and the fleece inner coat it nice and thick.
