Indestructible toys wanted !
Hi everyone x well summer has hit seven months now, and is the most loving, fun, companion we could ever wish for x she's brilliant round the house, and we have been extremely lucky , we've had no damage to our home, and all she chews is her toys, in the garden she's stripped most trees of their branches, that we can cope with, and she has stolen the odd shoe, slipper, and coat hangers are her favourite steal , but her poor toy box is now looking very sad . She wrecks every toy we give her, teddies are stripped bare of stuffing, balls are eaten, string rope toys look like they've been thru a shredder, and her sausage rope has been stripped to string , minus every sausage.I know they are chewers, and I'd much rather her chew her toys up than our home, but can anyone shed any light on some great, hard durable toys that last longer than five minutes please. I've googled tough toys, she's even gone thru kong, and I know there's plenty out there but all the links seem to be in America. Any recommendations will be great fully received x

Thats hilarious Karen - made me smile. Milo has a smallish kong which are fab as Crystal says & I fill with a bit of banana, or squash a sardine in or some cheese etc etc, he's had a rubber ring for ages - erm, old socks tied together seem to last quite a while, stag bars, hard rubber balls altho he's not that keen on balls. Oh he has a rubber figure of 8 tugger thing too which is very very strong & used to belong to my beloved Bree. Hope this helps

Hello
As recommended above kongs are great toys as you can fill them with tasty fillings and will keep them busy for a while.
Treat balls or kong wobbles I have found to be a great toy to keep Otis busy. I am still a fan of stag bars and we have found the balls from planet dog to be brilliant as Otis likes to run and chew them at the same time haha!

Re: Indestructible toys wanted !
We have tried a number of toys with lula and found a few that she not been able to destroy. Lula loves soft toys and anything that squeaks but destroys them in seconds. also given up on the rope toys because i`m sick of having to pull threads from her rear end
I decided to get her a number of different toys with the hope she would have lots and not focus on the one toy destroying it. Its work fairly well but was a little expensive.
Lula puppy kong still intact and seems lula proof. The chuck it balls are a big fav with her especially the glow in the dark one. Recently bought her a toy called a grubber from wilko. its like a ball but they can play tug with it. the other one is a heavy ball that makes a noise but has a spongy materiel around it. Lula struggles to lift it but seems to like it. A pink gel/plastic tug toy she not really bothered with it yet. Also got her a squeaky animal that looked pretty tough but Lula managed to chew of the ears legs and eye. i don`t think she will be able to completely destroy it but it didn`t hold up as well as i thought it would.

Re: Indestructible toys wanted !
thankyou for your replies x have just ordered two of the tuffies soft toys from amazon, will be going in pets at home for a kong toy later today. She loves her soft toys, but like many others, the stuffing is strewn around the room in minutes, so these toys have been given the tough factor x am going to look up the stag bars recommended, and as for balls, she has had so many, but I've managed to hang on to the puppy blue rubber one, minus the bell, it's her favourite x yesterday, I made the mistake of leaving my old work flip flops by the back door, and I couldn't help but laugh, it was like I'd given her gold , she had a hypo which lasted 15 mins, running round the garden, tossing it in the air, before stripping the sole and chewing it to shreds x I couldn't tell her off, because, she's just sooo cheeky , so lesson was learnt yesterday, shoes go in the cupboard x I'll keep you updated on the new toy arrival x

Re: Indestructible toys wanted !
Hope the new toys work out. If you play tug of war an old pair of jeans tied in a knot works well.
