Vet have never said any thing. Sapphire has been to see a vet recently about bits on her leg. They checked her all over. She going for her 7month check with the nurse next week.

Mine's got it too. Looked quite gruesome sometimes when he was eating but it's got less noticeable as he's got older. Vet didn't seem concerned about it either

Re: sticky out at the end of ribs
its quite common millie had it shes now 11 months and its gone, but its common and not an issue that causes them any pain
Re: sticky out at the end of ribs
Nala has this. We asked the vet on her very first visit and they said it's not an issue. She's always been quite small for her age but it has become less noticeable since she's put ok some weight.

Re: sticky out at the end of ribs
vet said there floating ribs and as she gets bigger the muscle will keep the in place. but if there still sticking out at 18 months then they will have to x ray her.

Re: sticky out at the end of ribs
Bane had this too He was a skinny pup and it was so much more noticeable when he ate, but it has almost disappeared now. We asked on one of his check ups and the vet said it was most likely floating ribs and nothing to worry about!
